IL MAKIAGE is a new, bold and unapologetic brand that launched in May 2018. It is DTC, supported by innovative boutiques designed by the world renowned Zaha Hadid Architects.

The Challenge:

IL MAKIAGE sought to reach beauty enthusiasts prior to their official launch date in the United States. The company wanted to generate a significant amount of buzz as well as work with on-brand influencers to quickly grow their audience on Instagram and tease the products prior to their release.

Our Solution:

To aggressively build a large audience for IL MAKIAGE on Instagram we partnered with 2 beauty macro influencers to host large-scale giveaways for their fans. Followers were encouraged to follow IL MAKIAGE as well as to tag their friends in the comments of the post. Our team also contracted makeup accounts to drive additional traffic to the giveaways. To generate extra buzz about the IL MAKIAGE’s store opening in NYC, we also partnered with 2 fashion influencers to pose in front of the Manhattan billboards and promote the launch on Instagram.
