Social media takes up an exorbitant amount of our everyday lives and can be extremely overwhelming, but Facebook has just rolled out a new call-to-action button that allows consumers to find exactly what they want and get it with just one click. Apparently you CAN have your cake and eat it too!

Business pages are slowly starting to acquire these call-to-action buttons and they can tailor them to their needs. The options thus far include: “Book Now,” “Contact Us,” “Use App,” “Play Game,” “Shop Now,” “Sign Up,” and “Watch Video.” These buttons appear at the top of the business’ Facebook page, next to the “Like” button – a prime visual location.

Dollar Shave Club’s business page was one of the first to have a call-to-action button while it was still in beta testing. Brian Kim, Director of Acquisition at Dollar Shave Club reported that “Over the course of a three-week test, the Sign Up call-to-action button delivered a 2.5X higher conversion rate versus other comparable social placements aimed to drive new user acquisition.” This success has influenced Facebook’s decision to roll out the call-to-action feature in the US over the next few weeks and then worldwide next year.

Keep an eye out for this button on your business’ Facebook page and see what it can do for you!
