Recently Instagram has decided to roll out some of its own photo editing apps to offer users more creativity when crafting the perfect “Insta.” One of these apps is Layout, which helps users combine multiple pictures into one single image. Prior to Layout, users could use other outside apps such as Pic Stitch or Pic Jointer. One of the benefits of using Layout over one of the various second party apps is that there are no visible lines dividing the pictures. Instead, Layout seamlessly combines multiple images in an aesthetically pleasing way that allows users full flexibility with their creativity while simultaneously having a very user friendly interface.

Instagram first announced the release of Layout on their blog saying, “From imagining mirrored landscapes to sharing multiple moments from an entire adventure, we’ve seen these kinds of visual storytelling happening on Instagram and we’re inspired by it. With Layout, it’s easier than ever to unlock your creativity — and we can’t wait to see what you’ll make next.” Layout is one of three new Instagram apps that will help provide users with more imaginative ways to share their content.
